Interdependence is a concept which is widely accepted with the systems concepts. Interdependence is very much related to interconnectedness. These are just like sides of two coins, as both relate and describes the same meaning of the system. Interdependence is the idea of Interdependency between different sets of systems and interconnectedness explains the connectivity of two systems together which are being connected to each other.

If the Interdependency is not there in a system, then all the equipment's in a system are merely independent elements and nothing else.
